We're the Folks Behind the Gear Exchange
In August of 2024 we worked with the previous owner of Oregon Trail Bikes to keep the shop open. About a year later we realized Pocatello was missing something; A place where the community could buy and sell used outdoor gear IN PERSON. Sure, you could use Facebook marketplace, but let's be honest, it's a lot more fun to rummage through gear to find that thing you didn't know you need!
We Love the Outdoors
Hiking, Camping, Snowshoeing, Falling Down in the Snow. We just really like to get outside especially if that means we get to sit around the fire. We also really like community. In fact, community was the whole reason we wanted to keep Oregon Trail Bikes open. So, if we can help our community get outdoors for less and also keep good gear in use, it's a win, win, win win, win, win!

The Gear Exchange is a Community effort and we need YOUR help! Do you have outdoor gear taking up space, or you thought you'd use it and never have? This only works if we can get gear in. Please take some time to rummage through your gear and bring by anything you'd like to donate or consign.
